🔥 What Is “Hot Shots”?

Now in its 6th year, Hot Shots is a Medway Basketball's annual fundraising shooting competition and community celebration that kicks off Medway’s basketball season in style!

Players in grades K–8 get two one-minute rounds to score as many baskets as possible — competing within their grade and gender groups for fun, prizes, and bragging rights. 🏆

It’s an exciting, family-friendly night packed with music, snacks, photographers, and big energy — a perfect way to start the season! 🎶📸🍪

💥 Season Kick-Off & Fundraiser

Hot Shots is Medway Basketball’s annual season-opening fundraiser — helping us cover gym rentals, league fees, and player scholarships so that every child in Medway has the opportunity to play. 🧡

Your participation helps keep MABA strong and growing while celebrating our basketball community.

🏀 How It Works

Each player gets two one-minute rounds to make as many baskets as possible.

• Scores are recorded within grade and gender divisions 👧👦

• Players can bring 1–2 helpers — one to rebound, one to keep score 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️

• Don’t have volunteers? No problem — our coaches, high school players, and board members will be on hand to help! 🤝

• The higher score from the two rounds counts toward the final results

• Top scorers in each division take home trophies 🏆

Hoop Heights:

• Grades K–3 ➤ 8 ft

• Grades 4–8 ➤ 10 ft

• $30 for the first child

• $30 for the second child

• $10 for each additional child

🕒 Timing & Location

Players will shoot in 30-minute time blocks between 5–8PM in either Anderson Gym or the Old Gym at Medway Middle School.
Exact times will be announced once registration closes.
